The Portland Women’s Lacrosse Club was founded in 1988 by 10 local women. 20 years later our roster includes over 25 women of all ages and experience. As part of the Northwest Women’s Lacrosse Assocation, we play both post-collegiate and collegiate club teams from around the Northwest. Each year, in addition to local games, we travel to tournaments in Hawaii, California, and Canada.

Our club includes women of all ages. We are Students....Teachers... Lawyers... Ad Executives. Some of us have been on the team for 10 years, some just joined a few months ago. We live here...but many are from “there” (all over!). We have played DI, DII, DIII and some of us only started playing a couple of years ago. We are married. We are single. We are bookworms, artists, sports fans, movie buffs. We play hard - both on and off the field! We LOVE to have fun. We are friends. We are teamates. We are lacrosse players.
